***STATEMENT***Smiley Responds To President Biden’s Address To The Joint Session Of Congress
Updated: May 7
PASCO, WA – United States Senate candidate and veterans advocate Tiffany Smiley (R-WA) issued the following statement in response to President Biden's address to the joint session of Congress.
Tiffany Smiley said: “I watched this evening’s address to the joint session of Congress with an open mind but was I left in shock. These are not ‘American Rescue Plans’ or ‘American Families Plans’, they’re $6 trillion in American Express bills he’s giving our children. Let’s be clear, there is no such thing as ‘free community college’ or ‘free pre-K,’ these programs all need to be paid for and President Biden is saddling all of our children with a debt none of us can fathom. It’s time Senator Murray does her job as a check and balance to President Biden’s irresponsible agenda before Washington State children see their futures destroyed by this massive debt.”
