Governor Kristi Noem Endorses Tiffany Smiley For Senate

PASCO, WA – The Smiley for Washington campaign today announced that it has received the endorsement of Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD).

On announcing her endorsement, Governor Noem said: "I am proud to endorse Tiffany Smiley for United States Senate. Tiffany knows the importance of creating an environment where small businesses can thrive, and that means lowering taxes and removing the red tape that so often hinders new business growth. Washington D.C. needs the commonsense solutions that Tiffany offers, and I know that she will serve her constituents well as Washington’s next Senator!”

Tiffany Smiley said: “I am honored to receive the endorsement of Governor Kristi Noem. Governor Noem has been a tireless champion for limited government, reducing federal intrusion into her constituent’s everyday lives, and lowering the tax burden carried by the residents of South Dakota. I appreciate her support and look forward to working together to create a brighter tomorrow for Americans from every state in our great nation.”

Governor Kristi Noem was raised with her siblings on her family’s ranch in rural South Dakota. Her political career began in 2006 when she was elected to the South Dakota House of Representatives. After serving in the state legislature for several years she was elected to represent her state as its lone member in the US House of Representatives, where she helped pass the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Her career brought her back to South Dakota in 2018 when she was elected as the state’s first-ever female governor. As Governor, Noem has taken a hands-off approach to governing, believing that individuals, not bureaucrats, make the best decisions for themselves and their communities.
