Tiffany Smiley: “We’re Ready to Win and I’m Ready to Lead Where Patty Murray Hasn’t”

Four Months Until Election Day, Smiley Announces Record Fundraising Numbers

PASCO, WA – Veterans advocate Tiffany Smiley (R-WA) announced that her campaign for the U.S. Senate raised a staggering $2.6 million during the second quarter of 2022, now holding $3.5 million cash on hand. This new benchmark brings the campaign to over 50,000 individual contributions, surpasses the previous quarter record by nearly $1 million, and puts her in a commanding position four months away from the general election.

“The enormous support we’ve received from Washingtonians over the past year is nothing short of spectacular,” Smiley said. “But it is far from surprising because of the tremendous effort and energy my team and grassroots supporters have put into this campaign that I am enormously grateful for.

“So-called pundits and experts from Washington State to Washington, DC have been quick to write off my campaign for the U.S. Senate. But by all accounts, we have not only beat expectations; we have turned Washington State into a competitive race that Democrats in Washington, DC are scared of.

“We’re ready to win and I’m ready to lead where Patty Murray hasn’t. We face an inflation crisis, an energy crisis, a crime crisis and a baby formula crisis – and Patty Murray is missing in action. As your Senator, I’m prepared to take these crises head on because I’ve spent a lifetime facing down and overcoming challenges. I fought the bureaucracy in DC and won on behalf of our veterans. And four months from today, voters will get the change in leadership they deserve, leadership that will fight for all Washingtonians.”

The Smiley for Washington campaign has also boosted its ground presence throughout the state. The Victory program has knocked on over 200,000 doors and signed up 2,000 volunteers. This is evidence that momentum continues to build as the campaign heads toward victory in November.
