5 Questions for Patty Murray on “Lowering Costs” and the So-Called “Inflation Reduction Act”
Pasco, WA – Over the weekend, voters watched as Democrats, lead by Patty Murray, repeatedly voted AGAINST numerous Republican measures to combat inflation while also protecting American families and small businesses.
On Sunday, she was the deciding vote for this so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” and extolled its benefits for Washingtonians, claiming it will “lower costs.” If that is the case, then here are five questions Washington voters should be asking Senator Murray regarding her support of this $700 billion tax-and-spend bill:
Do you agree with your fellow Democrat Bernie Sanders that the “Inflation Reduction Act” will “have minimal impact on inflation”?
Why did you vote against a measure to prohibit inflationary government spending until prices for American families go down?
Why did you vote against a measure to reduce gas prices by increasing domestic oil development?
Why did you vote against a measure to remove harmful tax hikes on small businesses and prevent tax cuts for the rich by extending SALT deduction caps?
Why did you vote against a measure to protect patients who have cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other serious conditions from higher drug prices and reduced innovation?
